My name is Grace

I fell in love with pastoring on the streets of downtown Fresno, Ca, where I intentionally lived and worked for a neighborhood-focused church plant in an area of high-concentrated poverty for four years. In my late twenties, I was navigating the Great White North as the lead pastor of REUNION Oakville (just outside of Toronto). Most recently, I joined an Evangelical Covenant Church in San Jose as the pastor of small groups and evangelism. I have a Master's in Theology, am the co-director of the PreacHER Academy, and an adjunct professor for the Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary.

Before I was a pastor, I was a peacemaker mediating conflict between juvenile offenders and their victims at the Center for Peacemaking. My Master's thesis explores the role of shame in the prison re-entry crisis, equipping the Church with theology that mobilizes it to respond to the crisis.

Nothing brings me more joy than preaching and communicating Jesus' good news and empowering others to do the same. I've spoken at churches, conferences, and talk shows across North America. I have contributed to multiple books, Christian magazines, and devotionals.

I live to serve Jesus and his bride and long to see the Church live out the full spectrum of her mission. I've experienced both pain and profound healing in Church community - I've seen breathtaking glimmers of what the Church can be and won't give up on that vision.
